THE BOOKS
Samantha Cross dabbles in several different genres, and with her debut novel she chose the spine tingling and quirky Lunar Rampage, a tale of mystery, love and horror.
Lunar Rampage (2018)
One town. One Werewolf. A dozen suspects.
Twenty-six-year-old Cora Nash is a sweet, quirky aspiring photographer with big dreams, but for now, her biggest concern is renovating her grandmother’s storm damaged home in the small woodsy town of Rookridge.
When she arrives in the tight-knit community, it doesn’t take her long to figure out she doesn’t exactly fit in, so she does what she thinks is best—keep to herself. That plan works… until it doesn’t.
People in Rookridge have gone missing, but the most disturbing part is that no one in town is concerned about the inexplicable disappearances. No one except for Cora, who barely escapes with her body intact after a run in with a mysterious and violent beast.
A werewolf.
Cora realizes she’s in over her head, especially when the werewolf sends her running for her life and seeking shelter in the home of the town’s biggest bad boy, Max, who may or may not think she’s completely nuts. Can she figure out who the werewolf is before it's too late? And will she be able to control her own appetite for Max along the way? Cora can only hope!
Lunar City (2018)
Rookridge is abandoned. Max is missing. And when a mysterious man in back arrives at Cora's door looking for him, Cora knows he's in danger and has to find him.
Her search leads her to a city of the werewolves, and the king of all werewolves himself, who is none too pleased to discover she knows exactly who and what they are. Cora is forced to live in their compound with an ultimatum: prove you are trustworthy enough to be freed before the next full moon or suffer the consequences.
Cora's survival is on the line, and unfortunately for her, there are those within the compound walls that will stop at nothing to see her fail.
Lunar Rebirth (2020)

The past won’t stay buried.
After a string of catastrophic events, settling into a life of normalcy with Max and away from the world of werewolves is all Cora wants.
But when she receives a phone call in the dead of night from a trembling, whispering voice calling her back to Lunar City, Cora is thrust into a reality she never thought possible. A reality even more dangerous than the one she lives.
The deadliest, most powerful foe awaits, and it will take more than Cora to put a stop to it.
Experience the conclusion to the Lunar Rampage trilogy that will leave you breathless.
Lunar Deceit (2020)
From the outside, I’m your typical twenty-something girl traveling the world with her girlfriend and having the time of her life.
The reality, however, is far stranger: I’m a vampire with the ability to walk in the sunlight, I must drink blood to survive, and I will never grow old. For that very reason, I am wanted, often hunted, and I’m forced to forever be on the move so no one ever discovers who and what I am.
When my journey brings me to New Orleans, a city so far away and different from home, I almost feel safe. I almost feel normal. But nothing is as it seems, and someone wants what I hold most dear. It doesn’t take long to discover this place isn't my sanctuary, but a city of secrets, deceit...and death.
Lunar Wedding (2020)
The day Cora has been waiting for is finally here! The wedding guests have arrived, the flowers are on display, and the chocolate cake at the reception is calling her name. Everything looks just about perfect. But when you marry into a pack of werewolves, all expectations for a normal wedding are thrown out the window, and Cora has to prepare for any possible hiccups to her big day.
With a hall filled with werewolves, drunken grandmas, and a mystery guest...what could possibly go wrong?
